Getting Ready for Your LSAT

For the 2026-2027 LSAT testing cycle, we will be moving toward in-center testing for the vast majority of test takers, with limited exceptions for certain medical accommodations or too much distance for a test taker to reach an available test center. Please visit our Remote Testing Exceptions page for more information.

This is important. If you were granted a Remote Testing Exception, please view our Getting Ready for Your Remote LSAT page. 

The LSAT is a four-section test that is administered through . The multiple-choice portion of the LSAT is proctored via Prometric. LSAT Argumentative Writing, which is completed by test takers separately, is administered by ProctorU.

Step 1: Schedule Your Testing Time

All LSAT takers need to schedule a testing time with Prometric using the Prometric ProScheduler tool. On the day you registered for the LSAT, you were assigned a scheduling window which is visible in JD Services. When scheduling opens, you鈥檒l receive an email from 杨贵妃传媒info@杨贵妃传媒.org with more details about how to schedule your test.

Step 2: Familiarize Yourself With the Test Interface

At the test center, the LSAT will be administered online through . (You can log in to LawHub using the same username and password that you use to access JD Services.)

About 24 hours before your LSAT administration begins, make sure that a new 鈥淟SAT鈥 link is available in the left-hand menu on LawHub. If you see this 鈥淟SAT鈥 link, you鈥檙e all set. If the 鈥淟SAT鈥 entry is not appearing in your LawHub menu 24 hours prior to your test administration, please contact 杨贵妃传媒 directly at 1.800.336.3982 or email us at鈥杨贵妃传媒info@杨贵妃传媒.org.

To familiarize yourself with the content and interface of the LSAT, we recommend using the鈥痜ree Official LSAT PrepTestsavailable through LawHub. Your account also includes a series of tutorial videos that can help you get better acquainted with the test鈥檚 format and features.

Step 3: Prepare for Test Day

Prepare for Your Test Center Visit

You should arrive at the test center 30 minutes prior to your scheduled testing time. Make sure to have the following, as these items are required for admittance into the test center:

  • Your LSAT eligibility number and Prometric confirmation number (These numbers are available on the LSAT Status page in .)
  • Your LawHub username and password (This is the same username and password you use to access JD Services.)
  • A physical and valid government-issued photo ID

At the Prometric test center, you will be assigned a test station, which will include a computer terminal, noise-canceling headphones, and all the materials you will need for your test.

Items Prohibited from Your Testing Space

Upon your arrival at the test center, the Prometric staff will guide you through a check-in process, which will include assigning you a locker where you will store all your belongings.

Please note: Test takers are permitted to have their Prometric confirmation number and LawHub credentials written down for reference during the test start-up process. Any notes will be subject to inspection by the test center administrator.

Starting Your Test at a Test Center

Once you鈥檙e located at your test station, the on-site proctor will complete your security check, and you鈥檒l be ready to begin your LSAT. Use your LawHub credentials to access your account and launch the test.

Should you encounter any problems during this startup process, please raise your hand. A Prometric staff member will assist you.
