Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ Initiates Search for New President and CEO

The Law School Admission Council (Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½) will soon begin a rigorous search for its next president and CEO. Following seven years of dedicated and successful service as Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½â€™s president and CEO, Kellye Testy will assume the role as executive director and CEO of the Association of American Law Schools effective July 1, 2024.

IAALS, the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System, and the Law School Admission Council (Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½), today announced a new joint project — Foundations 2.0 — designed to provide a comprehensive updated view of the skills and competencies new lawyers need to succeed and serve clients well in the rapidly evolving legal profession.

Acquisition of Law School Transparency Strengthens Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½ LawHub Offerings

The Law School Admission Council announced today the expansion of its LawHub offerings through the acquisition of Law School Transparency, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing innovative tools that help aspiring law school students make informed decisions about their legal education future. As part of this expansion, Law School Transparency’s co-founder and executive director, Kyle McEntee, has joined Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½â€™s growing LawHub team as senior director for prelaw solutions.

AALS Section on Women in Legal Education to honor Camille deJorna with Ruth Bader Ginsburg Lifetime Achievement Award

The Association of American Law Schools (AALS) Section on Women in Legal Education will honor Camille deJorna, deputy for legal and global higher education at Law School Admission Council (Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½), as the recipient of the 2022 Ruth Bader Ginsburg Lifetime Achievement Award. The honor will be presented at the section’s award ceremony at the 2022 AALS Annual Meeting on January 6.
