Code of Conduct for Events and Forums of ý. (“ý Forum Code of Conduct”)
Welcome to this ý. Forum (“ý Forum”)! As part of this ý Forum, you may engage with law school representatives and other experts at the ý Forum (collectively, the “law school representatives”) of the ý Forum and participate in discussions of subjects, topics, and issues raised during the ý Forum. By attending the ý Forum, you agree that you have read and will follow the rules, terms, and conditions set forth in this ý Forum Code of Conduct.
This ý Forum Code of Conduct specifically governs the behavior and conduct required for your participation in the ý Forum. The ý Forum Code of Conduct applies to all individuals that register for and enter the ý Forum (each individual may be referred to as “participants,” “you,” or “users”) and constitutes a binding, legal agreement between you, the ý., and its agents, successors, heirs, and assigns (“ý”).
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the ý Forum Code of Conduct. To preserve a climate that encourages both civil and fruitful dialogue, we reserve the right to cancel your registration to the ý Forum, prohibit you from attending the ý Forum, remove you from the ý Forum, and/or deny admission or cancel your registration to attend any future ý Forum, as a result of a violation of any provision in the ý Forum Code of Conduct. At its discretion, ý may notify its member schools that your registration to the ý Forum was cancelled, that you were prohibited from attending the ý forum, that you were removed from the ý Forum, and/or that you will be denied admission or your registration will be cancelled if you attempt to attend any future ý Forum.
All participants must adhere to and comply with the following ý Forum Code of Conduct:
- General Rules
- Always treat others with kindness and respect, even if you do not agree with them.
- Stay on topic, do not intentionally derail conversations, do not troll, and do not spam.
- Use appropriate language (e.g., do not use any profane, explicit, or offensive language).
- Do not intentionally insult or offend others.
- As determined by ý at its sole discretion, do not engage in any hate speech, intimidation, harassment, sexual, racial, ethnic slurs, or any other offensive conduct or post any discriminatory content.
- Do not engage in any behavior outside of the ý Forum that threatens, harasses, targets, or otherwise seriously offends any participant of or law school representative at the ý Forum, including, but not limited to, cyberbullying, as determined by the attendee of the ý Forum at their sole discretion.
- Rules Regulating Your Behavior on Digital Chatrooms, Message Board, and/or Other Digital Forms of Communication (collectively, the “ý Digital Platforms”)
- During the ý Forum, ý may make the ý Digital Platforms available to participants of the ý Forum for the purpose of participating in the ý Forum and providing a digital location for the discussion of issues that are important to participants and law school representatives of the ý Forum.
- ý is making the ý Digital Platforms available to participants and law school representatives of the ý Forum for educational and informational purposes only. ý is not undertaking to render advice. ý Forum participants must rely solely on their own judgment with respect to all issues discussed. ý does not approve or endorse any specific practices, conduct, or behavior that may be discussed on the ý Digital Platforms. ý makes no representations or warranties regarding the experience, qualifications, or information provided by law school representatives on the ý Digital Platforms or otherwise provided using the ý Digital Platforms.
- Information posted on the ý Digital Platforms will not be treated as confidential, and, therefore, you should not disclose any personally identifiable information or any confidential, proprietary, sensitive, or other protected information. Since any content posted on the ý Digital Platforms may be downloaded, reproduced, and/or disseminated without the knowledge of the user(s), users must use extreme care when posting or sending such content.
- Each user acknowledges and agrees that the user: (i) will not have any copyright or other property rights in or to content that they (or others) post on the ý Digital Platforms; (ii) specifically waive such rights; and (iii) hereby grant all users a license to use (including the right to publish) all information posted by them on the ý Digital Platforms.
- Discussion topics are not to be relied upon as specific advice, and such responses are not intended to constitute guidelines or advice for attendee behavior.
- Users should exercise both common sense and courtesy in the content the user submits to the ý Digital Platforms and may not use the ý Digital Platforms to transmit defamatory, obscene, or otherwise offensive content.
- Users may not post or distribute files, articles, or other images to the ý Digital Platforms. User postings shall be specifically limited to comments and commentary from the users.
- Users may not post any commercial messages, advertisements, or promotions regarding any goods, products, or services on the ý Digital Platforms.
- Users must respect the security of the ý Digital Platforms and may not attempt to gain access or provide access to areas that are not readily accessible to the users.
- Users are prohibited from using the ý Digital Platforms to distribute any content that may be illegal, unlawful, or otherwise morally unscrupulous. For purposes of illustration, the ý Digital Platforms may not be used to solicit or disseminate information having to do with, or any activity related to, cheating, circumventing test security, test content, illegal drugs, pornography, gambling, spreading computer viruses, software infringement, trafficking in credit card codes, illegal boycotts and/or any other illegal, unlawful, or otherwise morally unscrupulous behavior or activity.
- The ý Digital Platforms may not be used in any manner that violates applicable international, federal, state or local laws, or any other policies, procedures, rules, or regulations that are applicable to the ý Digital Platforms.
- ý may reject, terminate, or suspend access to the ý Digital Platforms to any individual that does not agree to abide by this ý Forum Code of Conduct and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to: (i) remove any postings or other content that is inconsistent with the ý Forum Code of Conduct, or otherwise not in the best interests of ý; and (ii) reject, terminate, or suspend access to the ý Digital Platforms for any violation of this ý Forum Code of Conduct or for otherwise acting in any manner contrary to the best interests of ý.
Prohibited Conduct and Behaviors
By registering for and/or attending the ý Forum, you accept and agree to abide by the ý Forum Code of Conduct. If you do not wish to accept or agree to the ý Forum Code of Conduct, you may not attend the ý Forum or access the ý Digital Platforms. By using the ý Digital Platforms, you understand and agree that you are not permitted to engage in any of the following conduct or behaviors and any such conduct or behaviors is explicitly prohibited and engaging in any such conduct or behavior may result from your removal from the ý Forum and/or the ý Digital Platforms and/or denial of entry to a future ý Forum and/or denial of access to any future ý Digital Platforms:
- Posting your own as well as other individual’s personally identifiable information (e.g., name, address, phone number, places of employment, etc.).
- Posting links to phishing sites, malware, or spyware.
- Recording, capturing, copying, downloading, or otherwise sharing any recording or screenshot from the ý Forum and/or any law school representative and/or displaying such content on any third-party website, platform, or forum.
- Impersonating any other user.
- Spamming, bashing, flaming, or trolling.
- Any kind of encouragement towards taking drugs, drinking alcohol, or otherwise engaging in morally unscrupulous conduct or behavior.
- Creating multiple accounts.
- Posting something that is knowingly false.
- Thread bumping, hijacking, or posting comments that are unrelated to the original topic and making it difficult for other users to follow the discussion.
- Engaging in political discussions or otherwise posting content in support of, or in opposition to, any political candidate, or political party.
- Posting pornography, inappropriate or offensive conduct, warez, and/or any other content that is not in the best interests of ý as determined by ý.
- Linking to cracks, key generators, pirated content, and promoting piracy.
- Threats of violence, harassment, or privacy breach.
- Using a third party’s intellectual property (full or partial) without the consent or authorization to do so.
- Use of language that is abusive, vulgar, hateful, defamatory, obscene, explicit, profane, threatening, privacy-invasive, or otherwise unlawful.
- Encouraging any other user not to abide by the ý Forum Code of Conduct.
- Taking any other action that is deemed inappropriate by ý at ý’s sole discretion.

Choice of Law
The ý Forum Code of Conduct shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States of America, exclusive of its choice of law or conflict of laws provisions. In addition, users consent to be subject to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the state courts located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania or the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, whichever has jurisdiction, and waive any jurisdictional, venue, or inconvenient forum objections to such court in the event of any dispute between the parties.
Amendments
ý reserves the right to revise, amend, modify, supplement, or change the terms of this ý Forum Code of Conduct, as it determines from time to time in the best interests of ý; provided, that, all users are notified prior to any such change by receiving a copy of the revised, amended, modified, supplement, or changed ý Forum Code of Conduct. Attendance at any subsequent ý Forum and/or access of the ý Digital Platforms constitutes the user’s continuing agreement to be bound by the ý Forum Code of Conduct, as amended from time to time.
Acceptance of ý Forum Code of Conduct
By attending the ý Forum and/or accessing the ý Digital Platforms, you (i) represent and warrant that you have read this ý Forum Code of Conduct, including, without limitation the terms of the Release set forth above; (ii) fully understand the terms of this ý Forum Code of Conduct, including, without limitation, the Release included herein, and acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review this ý Forum Code of Conduct, including, without limitation, the terms of the Release, with an attorney of your choosing if you so desire; and (iii) agree to be legally bound by the terms of this ý Forum Code of Conduct.
